Ijazah or Ijaza is actually an Arabic word (إِجازَة) which means “permission”, “authorization”. Technically, Ijazah in Qur’an is a license authorizing its holder to transmit the Qur’an, which is issued by someone already possessing such authority. Qur’an Recitation Ijazah is a certification that authorizes its holder to teach Qur’an recitation (reading) and can be awarded by an already certified Imam or scholar (endless chain). The learner obtains this certificate after reciting (reading) the whole Qur’an with Tajweed in the presence of the certified tutor.The ijazah course at Tahfeez Ul Quran Online Academy is provided by highly-qualified tutors holding Ijazah, and they teach the corresponding Ijazah program through one-to-one online sessions.
